I only used to listen to hard rock and metal and so on before, but then started to listen to Asot and Oceanlab and trance in general. I can not really say why I´ve continued to listen to this but its just so much deeper and it doesnt have to have lyrics, it still says thousands more things than other music.

Yeah its mixed by them as in like on decks?? but i think they mix on computer for these albums..
it would say REMIXED by Above & Beyond if they remixed them….. although sometimes it does say just “mix” after a track.. haha

When people say this album mixed by Above & Beyond do they mean it was put together by them or they totally remixed every track? I’ve listened to the tracks seperatly off this ablum and they sound the same.
Please someone write a reply if you know more than I know about this. TY

I’m actually amazed at how often I find that big hip-hop fans and beat-creators are more open to trance music than people who are fans of stuff like Postal Service and Styrofoam but can’t/refuse to make the crossover…
You’d think it’d be the exact opposite.
I’m a senior Civil Engineer, but i have a dude in my music appreciation class that is almost a mirror image of Biggie Smalls that makes sick hip-hop beats, and I got him into some A&B stuff, and he appreciates the complexity.

AnjunaDeep:01 is perfect to forward to a friend that is skeptical of “trance” music.
This is THE mix to change their view of what trance/electronica is.
It’s so newwave and fresh that it’s hard to put it into a definite category.
I’m a BIG fan of Pvd/Tiesto/AVB, BUT RIGHT NOW Above & Beyond is #1 in the trance/dance scene. #1. ON POINT.
